Mrs. Marquez Wins California Teacher of the YearOur very own Mrs. Marquez wins California Teacher of the Year Distinction for 2011-2012 !!!!
Mrs. Marquez, a fifth-grade teacher at Harmony Elementary School, was selected by the California Department of Education for her successful and creative teaching in the areas of Gifted and Talented Education, English Immersion and bilingual education.
She will was honored at the Los Angeles Board of Education meeting that was held in mid November.
